No fine-print surprises

The questions you should ask before money is involved.

Is Strutty a subscription?

No. You choose a daily stake. It is only charged when a goal day is missed under the fair-play rules.

What counts as a missed day?

Strutty checks your Apple Health step total after the day ends. If a fresh read is short, you have until 10:00 the next morning for late steps to sync. Only a verified shortfall after grace can be charged.

Will I be warned first?

With notifications enabled, you receive a heads-up at 18:00, a final warning at 21:00, and a next-morning grace notice.

What if Apple Health did not sync?

An unverified day is never charged. The first is waived with a warning. If it happens again, the day is waived and your goal pauses until Apple Health syncs and you choose to resume.

Can I appeal?

Yes. You have 48 hours to explain what happened. The appeal is reviewed, and approved charges are refunded.

Can I pause my goal?

Yes. Pausing stops future unevaluated days. It does not erase a day already recorded as missed and in grace.

Who handles my card details?

Stripe handles payment details. Strutty uses the saved payment method only under the commitment you explicitly approve and does not store your full card number.

How is my health data used?

Strutty sends the daily step summary needed to evaluate your goal. Raw Apple Health samples are not sent to advertising or analytics tools.
